Teaching Focus
Dr. Kinchen鈥檚 primary teaching focus is on the field of human resource management and development. In conjunction with her academic qualifications, she brings 25 years of corporate HR and Management experience to her instructional approach. This integration of theoretical knowledge and practical industry expertise enables Dr. Kinchen to provide students with a well-rounded and in-depth understanding of the subject. She is dedicated to fostering a classroom environment that mirrors real-world business scenarios, thereby enriching the educational experience for her students.
Research Interest and Publications
Dr. Kinchen is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management, World at Work Organization, Montgomery SHRM, and HR Houston SHRM chapter(s). Her research interests include employee engagement/development, organizational behavior, people analytics, and qualitative methodologies.聽 Dr. Kinchen has published in Academic Crossing and focused her dissertation on Human Resource Strategy During times of Crisis and Disruption emphasizing response during the CV-19 Pandemic of 2020.
